Embroidered eye and lips for Farglory Museum

Client: Farglory Museum

2017

In 2016 Sophia Shih arranged a huge exhibition from 9 well-known women designers in Taipei. The exhibition, hosted by the newly established Farglory Museum, asked all designers to dedicate a piece of hand-made art focused on the theme of eyes for an exhibition to be named Women’s Eyes.

The concept of this embroidery was to illustrate the connection of eyes and lips—two important parts of the human body for communication.
