Cities of Light, A Collection of Solar Futures, USA

In a narrative hackathon held by the Center for Science and the Imagination and the Center for Energy and Society at Arizona State University, Parisa Tashakori collaborated with a diverse team to explore how cities in the U.S. could transition to renewable energy.

The workshop involved brainstorming, presentations, and feedback sessions to create imaginative yet technically grounded visions for future cities, focusing on clean energy and social equity. Each team was tasked with developing a story, artwork, and essays that reflect how different urban contexts and conceptual models might influence and be influenced by energy transitions. Tashakori's role involved contributing her expertise to these discussions, enhancing the team's ability to integrate complex ideas into their creative outputs.
